WRIST BANDS:
Everyone will be issued with a wrist band. Do not be offended if you are approached if we cannot see it. You can come and go from the festival but you must keep your ticket with you at all times and show it on re-entry. If your wristband has been tampered with, even with a ticket, you will not gain re-entry.
ALL CHILDREN UNDER 18:
No youth or child may enter or exit the festival without being accompanied by an adult.
PICNICS:
Picnics are welcome, BBQ’S ARE NOT. Also, please ensure cigarettes are put out especially if the grass is very dry. NO GLASSWARE FOR DRINKING IS ALLOWED, PLEASE USE PLASTIC RECEPTACLES. It would be appreciated if beer drinkers would use cans instead of bottles as they are easier to dispose of.
TOILET FACILITIES:
We try and ensure the toilets are up to standard. However, please find a steward (wearing an orange tabard) or go to the Ticket Desk if not. There is a disabled toilet, and men and women’s toilets in one section of the field. Please do not use the single toilets reserved for the bands.
PARKING:
Cars are not permitted into the festival or the Church car park (reserved for Blue Badge owners) so please park in our free car park along Preshute Lane (which is only a short distance away). Cars parked overnight must be collected by 11.00 a.m. on Sunday 30th June as the gates will be locked after that.
GAZEBOS:
Gazebos are £10, payable on entry.
OVERNIGHT STAY:
Campervans are £20, payable on entry and do not need to be booked in advance, we have plenty of room in the field! Or, nearby Marlborough has lots of lovely places for an overnight stay.
FIRST AID:
If, for any unfortunate reason you need First Aid, please visit Dan Claridge and his medical team in the ambulance on site for their help. They are very friendly and approachable.
LOST AND FOUND:
Please go to the Ticket Desk at the entrance – lost property or children!
DOGS:
Dogs are welcome during the day but not in the evening as it can be very distressing for them with the loud music and laser lights. Please make sure you pick up after your dog and do not leave your pet in your car if it very hot – even with a window open. A filled water bowl will be available at the gate at all times.
RUBBISH:
There will be a number of waste bins in the water meadow for your use. However, we will be issuing black sacks for you to ease the work of our volunteers so would appreciate you using them as well. We will collect them at the end of the day so you do not need to put them by the bins, just leave them where you were sitting. All rubbish is sorted and recycled where necessary by Grist Environmental.
UNDER-AGE DRINKERS:
Any youngster caught drinking alcohol will be asked to leave the festival and not return whether accompanied by an adult or not.
THAT’S IT FOLKS.
We want our festival goers to enjoy their day with us so we do not wish to be too harsh but most of the requests are common sense.
